2 types of wireless usb approaches.

1) usb that piggybacks on top of an existing wifi service

2) usb hub that connects to dongle in computer over UWB (Ultra Wide Band) connection

  • 4 port usb hub by Genfen :: drawback, no isynchronus communication, which is typically found in high bandwith applications like webcams and some audio devices.
  • IOGEAR :: again, no isynchronus communication.
  • belkin 4 port hub :: may be able to handle isynchronus communication, looking into it.

Other considerations :: usb microphone, sensors and camera all must be rethought as well. Only a 10m range.
