Locus Sonus Lab Notebook

Last changed: 2009/02/10 16:10

By default there's no Frontpage or main menu
To access to the content of the Lab WiKi, click on Recent Changes / Changements récents or click on Pages Index or use keywords with the searchbot

All the pages from the former wikidolist are transferred here, so you must check the links into your pages, and right now your must write your articles on this new wiki.
You'll see that new useful features are present :
- possibility to modify title of a page
- possibility to add a subtitle or a summary to a page (viewable on the Recent Changes page)
- possibility to use your own language for the template
- possibility to insert common submenus to various pages
- a direct feature for creating on-the-fly a new page
- a upload process in order to ut directly files on the server (images, sound)
- a previsualisation of your page before publishing
- more styled-text features and embedded possibilities (visit the help pages)

Concerning the publication rules :
This wiki is the place for texts' preparation before transferring them to the new locus sonus website and the place for your personal notes (that don't need to be public). The wiki is not scanned by the bots (Google, and so on). Because the new locus sonus website is built with the same wiki configuration (this is the new of the month), the page transfers are very easy (only copy and paste). At first, I'll moderate your texts for publication and help you to finalize them, thus you'll quickly understand the required "form" for publishing. Thus you will be able to publicly publish your own articles on locusonus.org. We would favour the maximum from you in order to document and comment all our and your activities : right now everyone of us is a publisher for the locus sonus website. I'll explain you very soon the locusonus.org configuration.

Your suggestions are welcome, concerning the config of this wiki and the publishing rules.

The first step for reading and visualizing the contents of this wiki is to click on Recent Changes (Changements récents), or on Pages Index, or to use keywords with the internal searchbot. Each page is built as follows : Title, Author, (date), chapter submenu, Content. The current chapter submenus are : streambox, linux, secondlife, network, games, promenade and your name (alejo, julien, scott). You can easily create new ones and insert into your pages (take a look at the source of the present saved pages).
Because we must complete and document 2008 and 2009 activities, thanks for synthesizing and publishing here your personal notes that aren't online, in order to help the locus sonus web publication.

(The url of the old wikidolist remains http://nujus.net/~locusonus/wikidolist/ . I'll delete it next March.)
