Développement du projet "Wireless parabolic mike & Cam" - ajoût d'une interface de contrôle utilisant le "Wireless Junxion box" du STEIM.

english presentation:

The current set up uses an wireless mike,
a wifi camera and a wireless head set (for monitoring). The way we've worked
untill now is that one person manipulates the mike/camera and another person
samples and remixes the sounds. The gig we did involved two such duos several
hundres KMs apart playing together through a streamed duplex.
What we would now like to do is to enable the person manipulating the microphone
to also to the sampling and remixing. Idealy what we would add a complete
wireless control interface which also uses the movements (relayed visually to
the audience by the video image) of the parabol.
The following is and ideal wish list of what we would like to incorporate, also
idealy we would need two examples to be able to work the duplex performance:
- 4 trigger buttons (note on/Off)
- 2 continuous controllers (rotary pots)
- 2 tilt controls (x - y)
- if possible 1 accelerometer

The latest version which we built uses the handle/battery from a canabalised
electric screw-driver, which delivers 4.8v this set up (not quite the one in
the picture) is handy since the orientable head to the screw-driver is used to
ajust the angle of the parabol mike and of course the rechargeble battery pack
in the handle is ideal.
So it would probably make sense to incorporate buttons and controllers into the
handle and place the board and other sensors on the outside (convex) surface of
the parabol.
