1894 __ Long distance telephone concerts, in Kansas City
Comment : Mr. A.U. Craig was in Kansas City last week making arrangements for a series of long distance telephone concerts. Everything is complete and he is new ready to receive dates for the holidays. Concerts will be given in Atchison, St. Joseph, Kansas City and St. Louis. A telephone concert consists of placing a large bell telephone in a hall and having the music furnished at a distant place. (Leavenworth Herald, November 24, 1894)
