CREER UN OBJET 3D POUR NEW ATLANTIS

#1 - MODELING A 3D FILE
Créer un objet dans un modeleur 3D (Blender, Sketchup, 3DSMax, Maya, etc.)

Nombre de polygones maximum : 10 000

* Dans Sketchup :
- Avant d'exporter, tout sélectionner (facettes), clic droit, créer un groupe
- Redimensionner un objet (échelle 1 mètre = 10 mètres dans le NAV). 
Vue de côté, si 1 mètre => 10 cm. Outil mètre, axe rouge. 
Redimensionner, outils mise à l'échelle.
- Déplacer le centre de l'objet à l'origine (coordonnées 0,0,0) 
sauf pour le sol : caméra dessus et face, déplacer.

Si Texture  :  éditer le .egg : mettre "../Map/" + nom_de_la_texture.jpg

si exporter en .x : x2egg

#2 - EXPORT TO A .EGG FILE

* Dans Sketchup : 
Export modèles 3D en DAE
Exporter DAE > egg : 
Trouver le programme qui convertit un .dae et .egg
sur Mac /Developer/Tools/Panda3D/dae2egg
Commande :
- cd your_folder
- /Developer/Tools/Panda3D/dae2egg your_file.dae -o your_file.egg

#3 - TAGGING FOR SPACE .EGG
Link Rooms, textures patchs.
Tagging the 3d file only for a space ! (RoomAttributes, ApertureAttributes, textures)

#4 - TEST

#5 - UPLOAD IT TO THE SERVER
So, all users could use it.
Connect to the master, with http (so Internet Browser)
Type into the browser : http://192.168.1.190:40040/master/upload.html
Upload the right type object, here check Model case.

#6 - ADD TO THE NAV

#7 - ATTACHED A PATCH (MODELS, ZONES, HELPERS)
With the NAV interface

#8 - PLACE YOUR OBJECT
