La cohorte des expérimentations artistes de type <b>« connected sonic spaces »</b> est désormais suffisamment consistante pour qu’un examen croisé des effets qu’elles ménagent, des problèmes qu’elles soulèvent, soit désormais de mise.
Ce questionnement peut se mener sur trois fronts. Ou bien on peut repérer les sillages de ces avancées sur trois cartes ou dans trois espaces de coordonnées.

a) Comment peut-on les cadrer par rapport aux courants vifs de la création sonore contemporaine.; ceci pour prendre la mesure raisonnée des déplacements qu’elles y opèrent.<br><br></SPAN>

b) Ces expériences ont en commun de travailler, par le son, le « sense of place ». En effet, en travaillant le son à partir de ses trajets, en le voyageant à travers différentes strates – virtuelles/présentielles - , d’un côté elles fabriquent des nappes sonores jusque-là improbables, et d’un autre elles les plongent dans des voisinages sonores divers et variés. D’où des froissements mutuels de « topies sonores » (d’ambiances sonores), de nature à nous en apprendre à la fois sur la spatialité des sons et sur leur rôle dans la construction de nos sens de localisation.<br><br></SPAN>

c) Ces pratiques artistiques sont la plupart du temps collectives. En un sens, elles sont nouées par le média, en un autre elles ne cessent de lui extorquer des possibles liants. Cette inventivité a sa source dans un affairement concerté dans l’exploration des possibles machiniques. Invite donc sera faite à zoomer (de manière réflexive) sur les fabriques digitales de l’art, en se posant au passage la question d’une spécificité de l’art audio dans le panorama de ces agencements créatifs/collectifs.<br><br></SPAN>

Le symposium <b>AUDIO CONNECT ?</b> organisé par Locus Sonus et le laboratoire de sociologie LAMES CNRS se déroule sur 3 jours du 3 au 5 mars.
<br><br>
Les 3 journées sont organisées comme suit :
<ul>
<li> une demi-journée qui se déroulera à l'École Supérieure d'Art d'Aix en Provence, consacrée au cadre historique et contextuel des pratiques sonores et musicales en réseau, avec plusieurs présentations de type conférence</li>
<li> une autre demi-journée, sur le même lieu, permettant de présenter des demos et des performances</li>
<li> deux demi-journées qui se tiendront au LAMES à Aix en Provence comprenant deux tables rondes modérées par Samuel Bordreuil, Peter Sinclair et Jérôme Joy, qui permettront de présenter les états de recherche de chaque intervenant vis-à-vis des thématiques du symposium (audiotopies et agencements collectifs/créatifs) sous la forme de courtes présentations (max. 20mn) suivies de discussions modérées</li>
<li> la dernière journée du 5 mars, non publique, sera consacrée le matin à une réunion concernant la construction du projet européen <b>Eu-phonic</b>, et l'après-midi à une réunion sur le projet ANR, <b>Art sonore, ambiances urbaines, prise de place publique</b>, avec les invités concernés.</li>

Afin de favoriser les échanges sur les tables rondes et les discussions suite aux présentations, il est demandé à chaque intervenant d'envoyer un support texte de son intervention avant le 23 février. Les documents seront transmis à chacun avant l'accueil à Aix en Provence.<br>
Au vu du nombre important d'intervenants sur ce symposium, nous envisageons la majorité des interventions dans le cadre des tables rondes, néanmoins chacun des intervenants devra préciser en amont quel type d'intervention lui semblerait le plus adéquat (intervenant table ronde, présentation conférence, présentation performance), ainsi qu'une liste technique de ce qui est nécessaire à chacun.-->
